Grant Crockett – Director
Grant is a lifelong resident of Lafayette County and has been working in education since 2009. Grant joined The Tech in 2022 as Director. Previous experience within the Lafayette County School District include, Special Education Director, Assistant High School Principal, Transition Coordinator and a classroom teacher. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and his master’s degree from Arkansas State University.
Theresa Rikard – Administrative Assistant
Theresa has been working in education since 1986 and working at The TECH since 2002. She received her Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Northwest Community College and attended The University of Mississippi. Theresa has received her Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) and is an Honorary Member of the National Technical Honor Society, a member of the Pi Theta Kappa Honor Society and possesses a basic knowledge of American Sign Language.
Inda Linzy – Vocational Counselor
Inda has been working in education since 2005 and at The TECH since 2015. She received her B.A. in English and M.Ed. in Counseling at The University of Mississippi. Inda is also the faculty sponsor for the National Technical Honor Society.
Sandi Allen, R.N. – Health Science Instructor
Sandi has been a Registered Nurse since 1992 and teaching at The TECH since 1997. She received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Northwest Community College and her B.S. in Nursing from Delta State University. Sandi is National Board Certified in Career and Technical Education for Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood. She has received her Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) and her Certification of Online Learning (C.O.O.L.).
Ryan Avent – Construction Instructor
Ryan has been working in education and The TECH since 2013. He received his Associates of Mathematics and Exercise Science Degree from Holmes Community College in 1987 and has received a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field at The University of Mississippi. Ryan is in his 2nd year working with football and as the head coach in Golf for Lafayette High School. His certifications include: Vocational Industrial Program, Career and Technical Education Verification, SkillsUSA Instructor, Certification of Online Learning (C.O.O.L.), and Propulse. Ryan is NCCER certified in Electricity, Masonry, Carpentry, and Plumbing. He has 14 years of experience in the plumbing and electrical field and worked for the United States Army National Guard from 1994 to 2002.
Mike Tutor – Utility Lineman Instructor
Mike is a retired journeyman lineman with 30 years of experience with North East MS Electric Power Association here in Lafayette County. He is a lifelong resident of Oxford. He has received all the Lineman/ Journeyman certifications from TVPPA. Preparing these students for the profession of an electrical lineman is a passion. He hopes to instill a passion for the job in these students just as he had for the last 30 years.
Stuart Meagrow – Automotive Services Technology Instructor
Stuart has been working in education and teaching at The TECH since 2004. He is a graduate of the Automotive Service Program from Northeast Mississippi Community College. Stuart has 15 years of automotive service experience and was a Ford Senior Master Technician. He is an Automotive Service Excellence Master and has received his Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3) and his Certification of Online Learning (C.O.O.L.).
Jamie Rowland – Ed Prep Instructor
Jamie is the Educator Prep instructor for The Tech. This is her fourth year to serve in this capacity at The Tech, and it is her twenty-first year of teaching. She enjoys teaching at The Tech because the class sizes are smaller, and she is able to get to know her students really well. She is always excited to pass on her knowledge of the teaching industry to her students and to help prepare them for the field through the classroom learning environment and the hands-on learning experiences at Lafayette Elementary and Lafayette Upper Elementary. She hopes to see you at The Tech!

Ronnie Williams – Career Coach
Ronnie comes to us through a partnership with Three Rivers Planning & Development District. He is in his second year serving the Lafayette County School District. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis and has over 40 years of work experience. He has owned and operated many businesses in Oxford and North Mississippi. His goal as Career Coach is to help students identify a skill, and match that skill with a career, then provide information and resources to move forward in the most appropriate direction to develop that skill to ensure a successful journey down their chosen career pathway and throughout life.
Ronnell Drane -Facilities Manager
Tanya Robertson-Student Services Coordinator
Tanya serves as our Student Services Coordinator and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from the University of Mississippi and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction also from the University of Mississippi. She is a certified educator with experience working in leadership roles at the school, district, and state level. She is skilled at identifying strengths and target areas in students of all ability levels and ages. She is adept at creating productive and meaningful lessons in an array of subjects. She is trained in early literacy development, as well as mathematical, science, and social studies instructional strategies at all levels, K-12. She is also certified to teach English in grades 7-12 and Special Pops K-12. Tanya has earned several honors during the course of her career including being named the 2002 University of Mississippi, School of Education, Taylor Medalist, Lafayette County School District Teacher of the Year in 2012, Madison County Terrific Teacher awards in 2017, and Madison County’s Soil and Conservation Teacher of the Year for the 2018-2019 school year.
